Appeal to Fellow Nigerians – Abayomi Odunowo.
My appeal to all Nigerians in this trying time is a simple one – let’s work together for the betterment of our economy and our people. It’s difficult to see the hardships that many are facing, but the solution doesn’t lie in trying to maximize profit at the expense of our fellow Nigerians. We are all in this together, and we need to cooperate and support each other.
I understand the temptation to increase prices in order to make more money, especially when times are tough. But please, think about the long-term consequences of this action. When you raise prices to unreasonable levels, it affects your customers’ ability to buy from you. Without customers, your business will suffer, and in the long run, everyone loses. The economy will suffer, and it will be a downward spiral for all of us.
I urge all business owners to consider the impact of their pricing decisions. It’s important to find a balance between making a profit and supporting your customers. We need to ensure that our products and services remain accessible to everyone, even in difficult times. This will help to keep the economy running and ensure that people can continue to support themselves and their families.
To those of you who are involved in projects, I urge you to reconsider your plans. Now is not the time to continue with expensive projects. It’s important to prioritize and manage our resources wisely. We need to be mindful of the current economic situation and ensure that our actions are in the best interest of the entire country. By postponing non-essential projects, we can redirect our resources to where they are needed most, and help to support those who are struggling.
I understand that these are challenging times for everyone, and it can be difficult to make these decisions. But we need to think about the bigger picture and consider the impact of our actions on the wider community. We have a responsibility to each other, and we need to work together to overcome these challenges.
Let’s come together as Nigerians and support each other. Let’s find ways to help those who are struggling, and ensure that everyone has access to essential goods and services. It’s only by working together that we can overcome the difficulties that we are facing.
